Comprehensive treatment models(CTMs) are methodological and practical programs designed to influence learning and development for core defict areas related to autism spectrum disorders (ASD). With proven outcomes through practical implementation, CTMs are recommended as evidence-based practices for children with ASD. The purpose of this review was to analyze CTMs in inclusive settings for preschoolers with ASD. We investigated the trends of studies, the features of interventions, and teacher training. The analysis showed that CTMs generally included multiple focused interventons based on natural interventions and applied behavior analysis approach. Teacher training consisted of initial training and follow-up. We discuss the future directions of CTMs for preschoolers with ASD and suggest practical implications for the special education field in Korea.
